Privacy Policy
Effective September 13, 2026 · Lifeuntox LLC
The short version
We collect your email address so we can send you the newsletter. That is the main thing.
If you choose to, you can give us your mobile number for recall alerts. It is optional.
We never sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with partners for their marketing.
We use a small number of trusted providers (email delivery, hosting, analytics) to run the Service.
You can unsubscribe, opt out of texts, or ask us to delete everything with one email.

Email: [email protected]Lifeuntox LLC is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. "We", "us" and "our" mean Lifeuntox LLC.
Email address when you subscribe, unlock a guide, or contact us.
Mobile number, if you choose to opt in to text alerts, together with the date and source of your consent.
Name and anything else you include when you email us, reply to a newsletter, answer a survey or poll, or post in our community.
Preferences you tell us about, such as topics you want more or less of.
Email engagement: whether an email was delivered, opened, or which links were clicked. Our email provider collects this using standard tracking pixels and tracked links.
Website usage: pages visited, referring site, approximate location from your IP address, device and browser type, and the search terms you type into our guide library.
Device storage: on the guide library we store a small flag on your device that remembers you have already unlocked a guide, so we do not ask again.
We do not ask for, and please do not send us, sensitive information such as health conditions, medical records or payment card details. If you mention a health condition when you email us, we use it only to answer your message.
To send you the newsletter and, if you opted in, recall alerts by text.
To let you read guides in our library and remember that you have unlocked them.
To answer your messages and requests.
To understand which editions and guides readers find useful, so we can make them better.
To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and meet our legal obligations.
To send occasional service notices, such as a correction or a change to our terms.
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we rely on: consent (subscribing, opting in to texts, cookies where required); performance of our agreement with you (delivering the newsletter and guides you asked for); legitimate interests (improving the Service, keeping it secure, understanding our audience) balanced against your rights; and legal obligation where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or partners for their own marketing. We share it only with providers who process it on our behalf under contract, and only as needed to run the Service:
Email delivery and subscriber management: beehiiv (our newsletter platform), which stores your email, engagement data, and any custom fields such as your phone number.
Website hosting and serverless functions: Netlify, which hosts our guide library and processes form submissions.
Text message delivery: the SMS provider we use to send alerts, if you opted in.
Fonts and analytics: Google Fonts loads our typeface; privacy-respecting analytics tell us page views in aggregate.
Community platforms: if you join The Untox Club on Facebook, Meta's privacy policy governs what it collects there.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or reorganisation of our business, in which case the new owner is bound by this policy.
If you give us your mobile number, we store it with the date, time and source of your consent. We use it only to send recall alerts and service notices, never daily marketing. We do not share your number with third parties for their marketing, and consent to receive texts is never sold or shared. Reply STOP to any message to opt out; reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
Our sites use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:
Strictly necessary: to remember that you unlocked a guide and to keep forms working.
Analytics: to count visits and see which pages are read. Where we use a third-party analytics tool, we configure it to anonymise IP addresses and not to build advertising profiles.
Email tracking: open and click tracking in newsletters, provided by our email platform.
We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the guide library will simply ask for your email again if you do. We honour Global Privacy Control signals where the law requires it.
Subscriber data: for as long as you are subscribed, then for up to 12 months in case you resubscribe or we need to demonstrate your unsubscribe, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Text opt-ins: consent records are kept for as long as required to demonstrate compliance, typically four years after opt-out.
Emails you send us: up to two years, then deleted, unless needed for a legal claim.
Analytics: in aggregate form only, indefinitely.
Your data is stored with providers that use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and regular security audits. Within Lifeuntox, access is limited to the people who need it to do their job, and API keys and credentials are never stored in our website code. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but if we ever learn of a breach affecting your data we will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
Wherever you live, you can:
Unsubscribe from email with the link at the bottom of any newsletter, or opt out of texts by replying STOP.
Access the personal information we hold about you.
Correct anything that is wrong.
Delete your information entirely ("forget me").
Export your information in a portable format.
Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time.
Email [email protected] with the request and the email address you subscribed with. We respond within 30 days, and we do not charge for these requests or treat you differently for making one. We may ask you to confirm you own the email address before acting.
If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon or another state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have the rights listed above, and the following also applies:
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.
The categories of personal information we collect are: identifiers (email, phone number, IP address), internet activity (email engagement, site usage), and any information you choose to include in messages to us. Sources, purposes and recipients are described in sections 3, 4 and 6.
You may appoint an authorised agent to make a request for you; we will ask for proof of authorisation.
If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; we will respond within 45 days.
California residents may request this information under the "Shine the Light" law; because we do not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing, the answer is that we have made no such disclosures.
Lifeuntox is based in the United States and our providers store data there. If you subscribe from the UK, EU, Canada, Australia or elsewhere, your information is transferred to the US. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards through our providers. Readers in the UK and EU have the rights in section 11 under UK and EU data-protection law, and may also complain to their local supervisory authority; we would be grateful for the chance to resolve any concern first.
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has subscribed, email us and we will delete the information.
We may update this policy as the Service or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version. For significant changes we will email subscribers before they take effect.
