Check your freezer immediately. Ajinomoto Foods North America has expanded its recall to approximately 36.9 million pounds of frozen chicken and pork fried rice, ramen, and dumpling products due to glass contamination.

The affected products were sold under brands many of us trust: Trader Joe's, Kroger, Ling Ling, Tai Pei, and Ajinomoto. The investigation traced the contamination to a vegetable source - specifically carrots - used in these frozen meals.

16 different products produced between October 21, 2024, and February 26, 2026, with best-by dates ranging from February 28, 2026 through August 19, 2027. Check the USDA mark of inspection for establishment number P-18356.
